2008-2009 Continuous Giving Campaign

"$5 ALIVE

$5.00 monthly to help someone on the road to recovery

  • An ongoing giving campaign raising money to support our  “Dollars Allocated to Assist” (DATA) General Fund for cancer survivors, our Mark Hudson II Fund for the family of a cancer diagnosed child and other organization activities.

All Central Ohio, join your neighbors for the opportunity to put your money to excellent use.  We invite you to be a part of our continuous giving campaign where your $5 monthly can help a person on their road to recovery. $5 alone can do many things but collectively $5 can change the life of a person battling cancer.

While in active treatment many cancer patients (or parents of a cancer patient) are forced to continue working in order to pay their basic living expenses.  It's sad to say but some newly diagnosed people will choose to forego having treatment because they are aware of the extreme financial burdeon of having treatment and know of no organization they can turn to for help.

    UNTIL NOW...

Our goal is to be that organizaiton they can come to when in need of financial assistance during treatment.

Think of that child newly diagnosed with cancer who wants their parent to stay with them.  Should that parent have to choose between supporting their child and going to work to pay bills? Of course not....

Think of that wife newly diagnosed with cancer who wants her husband to attend treatments and support her.  Should he have to choose between supporting her and going to work to pay bills? Of course not....

That husband.... That single parent....  Who do you know?

Think about ___________ who's newly diagnosed with cancer and is receiving treatment needing financial assistance as a result of taking time off from work. Should ___________ have to choose between continuing treatment and going to work to pay bills?  Of course not...

With your tax deductible donation of just $5 together we can make a difference and help those on their road to recovery.

Invite your friends and family members to join you.  This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
